Adoption of HitCheck - Personalized Cognitive Baseline &Testing Application

In an effort to provide the latest in player safety, Los Gatos-Cambrian Pop Warner is joining sports programs across the country in adopting HitCheck’s on-field, personalized cognitive testing application. 

While we have made significant changes to avoid injuries, they can happen in any sport at any level.    Early detection is the key to player safety and successful recovery.  Our Los Gatos-Cambrian league has partnered with HitCheck -- which allows us to create BASELINE Cognitive functions for each and every child before the start of each season.  HitCheck's baseline test measure several areas of cognitive functions with a series of tests - including short term memory, reaction time, balance, coordination, pattern recognition, problem solving and long term memory.

Should any child be suspected of a hit or potential injury, each team will have access on the sideline to the HitCheck application, which we can use to screen for signs immediately right from the sidelines.

We welcome you to try HitCheck for yourself.    To do this

   1.  Download the app on any smartphone (via the App Store and Google Play)
   2.  Tap the “Practice Test” button, to try out the HitCheck app.
